… musings of a Stay-At-Home Mom

Baking stuff

After making a cake, brownies, and cupcakes, my next baking agenda is the egg pie. :) Last night, after our dinner we went to City Super. Not for our grocery but for my pie pan and rolling pin, hehehe… I was itching to buy that stuff since last week, but I need hubby around to watch for Migs while I’m looking for the right pan. As we went inside the City Super, I headed immediately to the baking section, and I was really happy looking on different equipments and stuff on baking. And what makes me more giggled was the cupcake stand, which I’m searching for a long time ago  … I saw it on one magazine here in HK but I didn’t know where to buy and alas, I saw it there… LOL! Yeah, it looks like this:

cupcake stand

I think that was the small stand (for less than 50 cupcakes only) and they even have the larger one… :) (Aggie, if you’re reading… I’d love to make the one like Martha’s cake, hehe…)

It’s not really expensive but since it’s not on the budget list this time so I didn’t buy yet ;) ,soon I will, hehe… and I was thinking of doing that for my niece since they will be here for her 2nd birthday…. (na-excite ako bigla, hehe) …Anyways, I was able to buy my pie pan, the rolling pin and the board (I don’t know the exact name)… And I’m planning to bake the pie this week… hmmm,

Now, I’m addicted to baking and I just mentioned to hubby the other day, I wanted to have my own bakeshop someday,

Baking is my number one stress-relieving therapy! If I could have a bakeshop, I would chase all the stress out of my life – since I would be doing my favorite thing from morning till night – hehe. And my 5-year-old son seems to adore baking as well. There is no way to avoid his help. Well, and cleaning the flour from every tiny spot in the kitchen afterwords…
