Photo shoot on Monday
I was supposed to blog early but I woke up late. So no opening of the computer but instead hurrying up to have the little kiddo ready for school. Though I was like a busy bee early in the morning, I’ve been productive on my photography. After I sent the little boy to school, I didn’t go home instead I spent my free hours at Hong Kong Park and enjoy taking photos. Actually the main reason was to finish my assignment for the DSLR newbie challenge and the place was just perfect for our shutter speed topic because the park has different running water that I can use as subject. You can find two photos below where I was able to take a freeze action and blurred motion of the water, which is an effect for change in shutter speed. I took more photos and experiment different shutter speed “stops” and I’m just happy with all the results. I’ll be posting more photos later on my other blog.
Now that I’m familiar with this feature, I’m looking forward to take a photo of a fireworks where I can shot the freeze action like the photo below. Isn’t amazing? I’ve seen that while browsing on the net and it’s one of the hotels in Las Vegas. I love the shot and I wish I could take a photo like that. Good thing, Hong Kong always have a great firework display so I just need to check when will be the next schedule.

Ok, so here are 2 photos I have taken this morning while experimenting the shutter speed feature:
1/15 sec.

1/400 sec.

Notice the difference in motion effect? ….
Aww, love this shot!
Ok, thanks for looking and have a wonderful week ahead! Ciao!
