I spotted these lanterns last week still hanging inside the compound. This was intended for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Then last Saturday, I decided to bake Carrot cupcake. This is my 2nd attempt of a carrot cake and I’m happy with the result…
You can read here for the recipe. And since it’s my Mom’s birthday, we’re online and talking to my mom and siblings back home in Philippines. I showed them my carrot cupcake, where I put a “happy birthday” sign for my Mom, hehe… Here it is:

hello sis. ngayon lang ako nakaonline ulit. we lost power for 2 weeks due to the hurricane. anyway, i love all ur shots here. ang galing mo sobra and i can almost taste those cupcakes.
btw, yung lens ko nothing special. it’s the regular 18mm-70mm. i have a telephoto din pero di ko na masyado ginagamit kac mabigat tsaka i just realized i shouldn’t have bought it, lol! i need the macro but it’s almost $500. so i’m waiting if santa will get it for me or if i have to wait for next yr to get it myself.
