Santa’s gifts and stories…
Being Santa was the best part I love during Christmas. And because we have a toddler boy, who really believes with Santa, the more I’m excited doing the role. If there could be training about this like the CDL training then maybe I’m going to enroll. But I think hubby and I were successful being Santa for this year’s Christmas. We just have to do another trick next year as our little kiddo is getting more curious about the whole Santa thing. (I like Aggie’s idea leaving a small snack for Santa on Christmas Eve… it’s cute, hehe…. )
Ok, so for this year Christmas, Santa prepared 12 gifts for Miguel. Instead of giving it all one time on Christmas Eve, Santa stuffed Mig’s stockings that started 12 days before Christmas. In other words, our little kiddo had 12 days countdown to Christmas. Santa would leave one gift (not wrapped anymore, LOL!) and the little boy will checked his stocking every morning. And mind you he woke up early to check it and he’s always excited…
By the way, before the 12 days countdown started Migs always left the brochure of Toys R Us in front of our Christmas tree. See the photo below:

His reason: “….. So santa can see the toys I like” hehehe…. Yes, it’s opened on the page where the toys he liked were printed. He can’t write the santa letter yet so he would just showed to us and so we can tell it to Santa… hehe.
Ok now for the gifts, I got photos and I have taken photos of Miguel as he checked Santa’s gift every morning. I’ll be sharing it here later on once I have uploaded them all…
You can see the 12 gifts below. Just a little something for the little boy. More books than toys, hehe.

And before I end this post let me share one conversation we had with Miguel about Santa….
He talked to me after my communion, yes we’re inside the church:
MIGS: Mommy I’m hungry I want to eat spaghetti.
MOMMY: Just wait, the mass will end soon. We have spaghetti at home.
MIGS: But mommy I eat already the spaghetti, remember?
MOMMY: Yeah I know. But maybe Santa will bring another spaghetti for you.
MIGS: No mommy, Santa will not bring spaghetti only toys.
MOMMY: Santa can give us spaghetti later on.
MIGS: No mommy. Santa will not bring food because his reindeer will get dirty if they bring food. They give toys only to little kids like me.
Hahahahaha! I wanted to laugh out loud but I can’t since we’re inside the church.
By the way, did Santa give what you wished for this Christmas? Hehe….
Enjoy the rest of the holidays!
