Christmas week (part 3): Holiday at Ocean Park HongKong

This is the last part (finally!) of 3 parts of our Christmas week journal. :)
(Warning: lots of photos and a bit long post, hehe)

Ok, so Friday December 26 we spent the day at Ocean Park Hong Kong. This was supposedly the day we’re going to Macau. But obviously, our plan was canceled again for the 2nd time due to some unavoidable expenses. I’m not sure if we can set that this year, as we’ll have another big expenses coming…. eekk!

Anyway, onto my topic…

It was totally crowded at Ocean park that day being public holiday.

The weather was very cold. It was windy too that they suspended the cable car operation for few hours. Good thing Migs had warmer plus shirts and thick jacket as I forgot to bring any scarf and bonnets for him (This reminds me to check these multi color beanies… )

Ok, I won’t be detailing our stay here but I’m going to show some nice attractions they had during the holidays…

After our visit at Panda habitat, we went to the Madagascar live! It was a special attraction during the holidays and it was REALLY great! A big hit to the kids and adults as well. Let me walk you through what’s inside:

At the entrance with Alex the Lion, hehe..

Welcome to Africa, hehe

This was very cool…

once we entered into this room, the music “I like to move it, move it” was being played. Migs kept on dancing with other kids too. I can’t take nice photos. hehe…

Then this one there were 2 TVs at the side and you can see the person whose standing set at the middle with the Africa background, hehe… (I hope I explained that clearly, haha), so my 2 boys…

blurry and not good shot.

Then next room:

Monkeys, penguins, the truck, engines…

Last part was picture-taking, hehe…

Then we had the same setting taken by their own photographer and we ordered it together with a frame. It was very nice for a souvenir.

Another attraction they have was the Sky Fair show. The last time we went here (October) they don’t have one like this. So I’m guessing this was for the holidays only… So beautiful! I’ll just show you couple of shots from many many shots I’ve taken, hehe…

Then we had cable car ride and headed to the high land area of Ocean Park. Have lunch at Bayview Restaurant. We’re all tired and I don’t have energy to take photos already, hehe.. Then after eating, off we went to the Atoll Reef for fish viewing (like a big aquarium, hehe)…

Of course my little boy’s favorite, the dolphin show. We’re late when we went to the theater area so we’re seated at the far end side and not a good position for taking photos. I have few shots taken though.

After spending few hours at the high land, we went back to low land and ride on cable car again and then spent the day/night at the Kids world. Migs had a blast here and we can’t stopped him running, and playing at the playground then take some rides…

We went home very very tired, hahahaha! But we enjoyed the day especially my son. And the big smile on his face was a fair evident, hehe…

You can view all the photos here. Thanks for reading.
