Goodbye Avent
June 25, 2009… I have to mark that date because that day Migs finally said goodbye to his one and only Avent milk bottle… yey! I started teaching him to drink milk on the glass when he was 4 yrs old but then he can’t just let go of his milk bottle. He would ask milk during the night as soon as he goes to sleep. So we just let it be… then few days before he celebrated his 5th birthday, I informed him that he will start drinking milk on the glass, but same thing happened he don’t like it until that Thursday morning. I told him why not try drink his milk instead of the Yakult that he’s asking. And so he agreed and I put it on his cup… and wow, he finished it at once, hahaha! Since then, he will drink milk every morning on his cup and amazingly he would ask for it during our snack… Though the transition takes longer but I’m glad finally he did it! and I’m happy he still likes the taste of his fresh milk… another milestone and of course I’m such a happy mommy!
