Picture Plaques

Visiting clinics and other offices, we usually see different custom engraved plaques on the wall. If it’s a doctors’ clinic, it has the information of the school where he graduated and other related certificate he received. Now I was just thinking what about putting a photo plaque inside the house, 
I just thought of this after looking on sample picture plaques and I guess this could be a nice wall décor too… what you think? Sounds amazing huh, LOL!

How’s everybody here? I intentionally get away from blogging for a couple of days and spent my time with the 2 boys while in holiday mode. The little boy still has another week of school break while the big guy took an office leave so we have a week long together at home. And during this time, I usually can’t stay longer on the computer so if I have that few minutes, I just check mail and do a bit of net surfing. I guess it’s just a good timing as I was able to start planning again my wall project in our living room. This has been my plan since December 2007 but never pushes through yet so I’m hoping I could finish them soon. That’s why whenever I have that time for surfing; I visited sites like discount furniture store and similar sites to get ideas. I have a picture in mind on what to do already but I might be able to look for better style that could really fit for a small house like ours. I’m targeting to finish this by end of this month. Hopefully I won’t have any problem along the way. So good luck to me…
Ok, I guess I still have more computer time now, I’ll try to upload and share some photos during the first day of our Lunar New Year… more posts later…. Ciao!

Not from me but from angel investors that will provide necessary capital to start up a business. Usually, individual entrepreneurs borrowed funds from the bank but we all know there are certain requirements and process before being qualified for the loan application. But from what I’ve learned, angel investors make it possible to make your dream business a reality. You may ask, who are these angel investors? I have the same question too that’s why I made a simple searched on the web.
A lot of them are retired executive or business owners who have spare money to invest and like to make use of their working experience as mentor to others. And if an angel investor has interest on your business, the more he would take part giving valuable advices and most likely help you along the way. For me, these investors would play significant role especially to those who are new in the business world. They might give you useful contacts too that will be a good way for marketing your business… And after reading about this, I could see a lot of advantages. Truly the present technology especially the use of Internet has evolved into different areas. As I remember, I use Internet before for email exchange and search for information that I needed. Today, you can do almost all transactions at the comfort of your home without much added pressure: shopping, bank transactions, e-learning, funds transfer and even an opportunity to ask for life insurance quotes for free. The later usually we do an appointment with an agent then present his/her proposal but now as long as you have internet connection you can get free quotes online after providing some general information. For me this process is easy and comfortable. No hassle of going out and somehow you can make decisions quickly without waiting for any papers and other documents. Now I wonder what would be the technology for the next and next generation…

If there’s one challenge that I would like to take that is driving, hehe… When we were in Manila, hubby teaches me how to drive but I don’t know why on earth I can’t manage to do it properly… Well maybe I need to practice more however it seems I’m losing self-confidence whenever I would try it. But every time I chanced upon website about cars or accessories especially looking at this Dodge Charger accessory, it makes me think of doing the challenge of driving again… I guess I need to do it without hubby looking at me because the more I’m nervous and can’t concentrate, huh!

I was browsing different rental property in Hong Kong in one expatriate site that I discovered and I was surprised with the present rental fee. It is very expensive! I’ve seen few flats at a lower rate but the size is too small. Others are flat share but the fee is too high. Well, as they said renting apartment here is such a tricky one. And whether you are buying or selling or even just looking for a flat for rent, you usually need a help of a real estate agent. There are cases where you can contact directly the owner but a lot of them get in touch with a real estate. No wonder you could find a lot of real estate offices around and as I noticed they make a good business.

Since the start of winter season, I’m always on the look out with the different clothing that most of the people dressed up especially the ladies. And one of the styles I love during this season is the sweater dress as it is warm and comfy to wear. Most women wear it with leggings paired with sexy boots, sometimes they put belt on the waist. Throw It Out

I was reading moving tips from the site of New York Moving Company. And the very first tip they have for a smooth and manageable moving experience is “throw it out”… To quote few lines, “…if you haven’t worn it, used it, or played with it in the last three years, throw it out…” This made me smile because during our transfer last year, I have few things that I haven’t use for quite some time but I don’t want to throw them away, LOL! And yes, I brought it with me that made my hubby a bit mad ‘coz we do have a lot of unwanted belongings… hehe… Yes I’m such a keeper but true enough for the tip it will just be a waste of time to wrap and pack it and later on not need anymore. Last week, while I’m cleaning and organizing our cabinet, I’ve seen old stuff toys of Miguel that I know he wouldn’t use at all. The husband asked me to throw it but I said no, hehe… Maybe I can just donate it instead of throwing, right. For Migs old shoes and clothes, I usually sent it to Manila so no things put to waste, hehe…

I have read about this on most blogs and just so I know it’s a diet pills that can really suppress the appetite. I made a quick search on the net as to where this come from. Donate car to make kids videos

I chanced upon a non-profit company that accepts donations to make videos for kids and teens. Donations may be in other forms but they are reaching to those who can donate car for this purpose. Well, I know it’s not that easy to just give away a car but I believe there are still generous people who will do it as proven because they have given away 2.4 million videos already out of this initiative. And to give you a sample, I would be happy to share this video to you. it’s really nice especially for young children, which could be a good source for spiritual awareness. Watch it.
Holiday checkin’ in

I’m 3/4’s done for the all things I wanted to do for this holiday, hehe… what’s left: buy gift for my godchild here, hubby’s gift and for myself. I wanted to buy a new jacket. I’ve seen nice women’s jackets at volcom clothing and inspired me to get a new one for myself. Hopefully I could look one before the weekend. Good thing, it’s holiday vacation for my little boy starting tomorrow so no worry to get up early for him to prepare and all… and both of us can stroll around mall. I might bring him also to Disneyland again. He wanted to see the snow spectacular there as he was seeing it on TV ads. And next week we’ll be taking a break… (a holiday treat for us… !)

The name sounds new to me and maybe to some of you as well… This was just one of the many tasks and I have to search what’s this all about… I’ve been an IT personnel for many years but I haven’t heard about Eldermark’s assisted living software. Base on what I have read this is a perfect tool that will help increase efficiency and profitability. Well, I know all softwares have these goals but this particular one was designed specifically for senior living and assited living facilities. Now that makes interesting… If you will visit their site, they have an explanation there on what makes them differ from other software vendors and as I look at it, they got not only the software itself but the training, consultation and all the support will be made available to the customers… what a great service they have there.

This featured property over at Wilmington NC real estate website has caught my eye when trying to search for a single story building style.
The simple structure is really the one that interests me and makes me think of a relaxing house overlooking the beach. I was able to look into different parts of the house and it’s very spacious, perfect for a small family like us, hehe… oh well, we’re looking forward to have our own house. That’s why I’m eager to get back to work again so we can save for our own single family home.

From baby clothes to women’s accessories to men’s clothing and even aprons, clothing4all.com has it… I was browsing this site since the other day and trying to check women’s outerwear. I’m actually looking at the style of their jackets as I’m planning to buy a new one for this winter. ….This morning I went to few shops and checked some jackets but I haven’t seen my type. Actually I’m not sure what to get, hahaha… that’s why I’m checking the net so I can get an idea for the color and fashion… I’m planning to shop by next week for us… (goodluck to my wallet… )
