… that’s me here on my blog
and today I’m IN! and hopefully could spend time to give you more updates and answer emails and do tags.
Hi friends! It’s almost a week since my last post. Sorry for being absent. I have lots of photos to share and things to blog about but I chose to spend time with my family here, chitchat with my Mom, whom I really missed and going out with my siblings. In other words, I’m enjoying my vacation here on my parent’s house.
Last week, I was busy attending to some paper works plus I help my sister doing birthday preps for her daughter. I made a tarpaulin (my first time) and it turned out great. We bought goodies for the loot bags and this week we’re going to pack all the stuff… (should be fun!) .. and birthday this coming saturday.
Ok, we have 2 more weeks left for our vacation. Mostly we’ll be staying here in Laguna. I hate going to Manila, sobrang traffic!, hahahaha….. I asked Miguel if he wanted to go back in HK already, he said, ” one more swimming and after Denden’s party we go home” …
I teased him to go school here but he said, “No mommy, only in HK” …. but he will agree if there’s a playground and nice washroom in school, LOL!
….
Anyway, I got lots of tags. Thank you for remembering me. I’ll try to do that as soon as possible. Okies… more laters…. Coffee first to warm up. Ciao!

How’d your first six months go? And what are you looking forward to the next six months?
Ok, this one was sitting on my draft for quite a week already
… Because it’s a long one, it took me a while to finish, LOL! (excuses!) Anyway, this is my first time to join and such a nice idea to journal the things/events happened for the first half of 2008.
{Well. I’m supposed to write the monthly happenings but let me just answer the first half edition questionnaire first… then I’ll update it later, okies. (Hope that counts Aggie, hahahaha! kulang sa time eh!) }

Some inspiring story to start the day…. I love this reflection and I want to share it with you…
I remember reading a story once about a man who was exploring some caves by the seashore. In one of the caves he found a canvas bag with a bunch of hardened clay balls. It was like someone had rolled up some clay and left them out in the sun to bake. They didn’t look like much, but they intrigued the man so he took the bag out of the cave with him.
As he strolled along the beach, to pass the time, he would throw the clay balls one at a time out into the ocean as far as he could throw.
He thought little about it until he dropped one of the balls and it cracked open on a rock. Inside was a beautiful, precious stone. Excited, the man started breaking open the remaining clay balls. Each contained a similar treasure. He found thousands of dollars worth of jewels in the 20 or so clay balls he had left, then it struck him.
He had been on the beach a long time. He had thrown maybe 50 or 60 of the clay balls with their hidden treasure into the ocean waves. Instead of thousands of dollars in treasure, he could have had tens of thousands, but he just threw it all away.
You know sometimes, it’s like that with people. We look at someone, maybe even ourselves, and we see the external clay vessel. It doesn’t look like much from the outside. It isn’t always beautiful or sparkling, so we discount it; we see that person as less important than someone more beautiful or stylish or well known or wealthy.
But we have not taken the time to find the treasure hidden inside that person. There is a treasure hidden in every one of us. We are wonderfully made. Not just our physical bodies, our spiritual selves, which are sometimes hidden from others by the *earthen vessel*
But if you take the time to get to know that person, and if you ask the Spirit to show you that person the way He sees them, then the clay begins to peel away and the brilliant gem begins to shine forth.
The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship.

An overdue tag from Alpha and Yen

After my wedding, it took 2 years before I got pregnant. Blame it to my PCOS illness
… So just imagine our excitement when I learned I’m preggy especially my parents being the first “apo” in our family… And during my preggo period, I’m so emotional and I hate to eat seafoods even just the smell of it, hehe…. You can find below my big belly, sorry the photos are not really good ones
and I admit not a sexy preggo momma, LOL!~

It’s true I have never seen you
and we have never met,
Never shaken Hands or
even truly hugged and yet!
I know for sure you care for
me by the kindness that you give.
And our keyboards keep us
together doesn’t matter where we live.
So I give you this gift to
put a smile on your face
and to let you know in my
heart you have a special place.

Hi! Sorry for lack of updates. I don’ t have any connection when we arrived here in my parent’s house. I tried to do dial up but the cable I use won’t match on the mac mini. I think a separate CAT5e patch cable is needed that will work for mac. I checked it with the broadband company and good thing the lineman who installed was able to fix it. Then last Tuesday the internet connection comes back, and I was able to go online then.
Anyway, I have lots of online work to do and I don’t know now where to start. My mojo is out somewhere so I can’t think of good thoughts at the moment. All I want to do is to sleep
… And if you ask the little boy, oh well he’s enjoying his stay here just because he has playmates, his cousins. They’re playing in the inflated pool most of the time. And if I ask him if he wanted to go back home in HK already, he would reply…“not yet Mommy”
… as far as me, I was able to have some rest. Off from my usual household work, hehe. But well, I miss the husband. Yes, we left him in HK…
Alright then, I have more blabs to tell about our trip last Saturday but I’ll do that later.
More stuff to do first right now, okies. Ciao!

We’re off for our vacation this weekend. Not sure how soon I’ll be online and that I don’t know how fast my connection will be.
… so this is a little note for you just in case you’re wondering where I am and I’m missing in action… okies!
By the way, I’ll be answering tags and comments once I’m settled on my online world…
Ciao! Have a wonderful weekend to all…

I just read this on my mail today and thought of sharing it here on my blog… such a wonderful reflection…
There once was a King who offered a prize to the artist who
would paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried.
The King looked at all the pictures, but there were only
two he really liked and he had to choose between them.
One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect
mirror for peaceful towering mountains were all around it.
Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. All who
saw this picture thought that it was a perfect picture
of peace.
The other picture had mountains too. But these were
rugged and bare. Above was an angry sky from which
rain fell, in which lightening played. Down the side of the
mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not look
peaceful at all.
But when the King looked, he saw behind the waterfall
a tiny bush growing in a crack in the rock.
In the bush a mother bird had built her nest. There, in
the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother bird
on her nest… perfect peace.
Which picture do you think won the prize?
The King chose the second picture.
Do you know why?
“Because,” explained the King, “peace does not mean
to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard
work. Peace means to be in the midst of all those things
and still be calm in your heart. That is the real meaning
of peace.
